The name of "Hang Kee" is named after the founder Mr. Gao Huang. Its predecessor was a tea house. It was in operation in the 28th year of Guangxu (AD 1902). Later, the tea market collapsed due to poor business in the tea house and the focus was shifted to bakery business. With a history of 117 years, it is a veritable century-old store.
